Why Work With Us?

Our website provides an assessment tool to determine the best screening test for you.
If indicated, at the end of the assessment you have the ability to order the home test.
Once you have completed the home test a local Gastroenterologist will interpret the result and make a recommendation.
This is not designed to replace the National Bowel Screening Programme but to provide screening for appropriate people who fall outside of current screening criteria.
Included in the report are:

• The result of the test
• A recommendation based on this result
• A referral for a colonoscopy if required.

How are we funded?

This website is funded by a select group of Gastroenterologist’s in New Zealand for the purpose of providing information on the detection of Bowel Cancer Screening.

Can I claim on my insurance?

This is a common question we get asked. The test itself is not covered by insurance but is inexpensive and straight forward. If the test is positive then it is very likely your insurance will cover the required further investigations and consultations. We will be able to assist you in arranging this.
